Skoda Auto India today announced a 234 per cent increase in its July 2021 sales, compared to the same period last year. The Skoda Rapid too has been a strong seller for the company
The company expects this trend to continue in the coming year as customer deliveries of the 1.0-litre Kushaq began mid-July. The company has also said that there has been a lot of engagement for other cars in its portfolio namely the Rapid, Superb and Octavia.
Zac Hollis, Brand Director - Skoda Auto India, said, "We are seeing a surge in dealership footfalls and customer enquiries. There is also a multi-fold increase in the requests for new dealerships from the dealer fraternity across India. We are pursuing an aggressive strategy of taking the Skoda brand to new and emerging markets across the country, with partners that share our vision of excellence and customer-centricity."
