Auto Sales July 2022: Nissan India Registers 14 Percent Growth; Sells 8,337 Units Overall

- Nissan celebrates 1 million milestone in export July 2022
- Nissan achieves 14% YTD sales growth in domestic and exports
- It recorded cumulative wholesales of 8337 units in July 2022
Nissan India has Reported the sales figure for the month of July 2022, the company has sold off 8,337 units(domestic + exports). The automaker has witnessed growth in Year to date of nearly 14 percent, Nissan sold over 3667 in domestic wholesale and 4670 export wholesales. Which has made Nissan achieve the milestone of exporting one million in July 2022, India's “Make in India, Make for the world” philosophy had made Nissan India export their vehicles to 108 countries from its Renault-Nissan Automotive India Ltd plant in Chennai.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India, commented on this achievement t, “Nissan India continues to build on the positive momentum of the Nissan Magnite, which was the one millionth car to be exported. The customer demand continues to grow with the launch of the RED Edition of Nissan Magnite. We are optimistic of the oncoming festival season on the strength of bookings and higher production with improvement in the supply chain to meet customer demand of enjoying the Nissan Magnite in the Festivals"
Nissan's highest selling car was launched in December 2020, which was the Nissan Magnite, with prices starting at Rs. 5.97 lakh (ex-showroom). The Japanese designed car was manufactured in India, promoting the “Make in India”banner. the car features the bold stature and its latest RED Edition priced at Rs. 7.86 lakh (ex-showroom) offers decent performance and aims to provide low-maintenance at the cost of 31 paise/km (for 50,000 km) and standard warranty of 2 years (50,000km) which can be extended for up to five years (or one lakh km) at a nominal cost.
