BMW India that recently increased the level of localisation at its plant up to 50 per cent, has now dropped the prices of all of its locally assembled products. Started in 2007, BMW India's plant in Chennai, currently, produces 8 cars - 1 Series, 3 Series, 3 Series Gran Turismo, 5 Series, 7 Series, X1, X3 and X5.
