BMW Unveils the Vision Gran Turismo
BMW has virtually unveiled the Vision Gran Turismo which has been created exclusively for the Play Station 3-only Gran Turismo 6 video game.
Developed by the BMW Group Design team who took inspiration from the track-only M235i, the Vision Gran Turismo comes with a few modifications of its own. The front and rear spoilers have been reshaped to optimise downforce, while there are carbon fibre air conduction elements which not only reduce drag but also help lower the car's weight to only 1,180 kg.
The beast gets a 3.0-litre M TwinPower Turbo engine which punches out 547bhp and 680Nm of torque from as low as 1900rpm. The rear wheels are powered by a six-speed sequential gearbox featuring steering wheel-mounted paddles.
