Commenting on the launch of the new SecuraDrive SUV tyre range, Amit Tolani, CMO - CEAT Tyres, said, "The compact SUV segment has seen exceptional growth of over 50 per cent in the last five years and is expected to grow at a CAGR of 20 per cent in the next 3-4 years. CEAT claims that the new tyres have been designed to offer superior performance on city roads and highways. The company has used what it calls an innovative 3D Groove wall technology, which, the company says, aids in achieving good steering control and cornering stability. While the fluidic sipe design on the pattern helps with aquaplaning and provides superior braking, CEAT's Cactus algorithm used for tread pitch design is claimed to make it less noisy.
The CEAT Securavdrive SUV tyres will be available in these five sizes - 205/60R16; 215/65R16; 215/55R17; 215/60R17; 235/65R17.
