Super cars are designed to be incredibly fast. However, for extracting their maximum potential, you need long stretches of streets or highways that are devoid of traffic, pedestrians, potholes, and speedbumps. And we all know it's next to impossible to find such roads in the country we live in. So while people keep purchasing Ferraris and Lamborghinis to whet their appetite for fast cars, they must find it incredibly frustrating to not be able to push them to their limits. So today, just for fun, we made a list of 5 incredibly fast super cars which could not make it to India.

This hybrid machine was revealed in 2018 as the fourth addition to the McLaren Ultimate Series, after the Senna, the P1, and the F1. It boasts a top speed of 403 km/h and can go from 0 to 100 km/h in exactly 3 seconds. That's exciting alright, but imagine driving this car on the streets near your place of residence. How frustrating would that be?

This American beauty is currently the fastest production car in the world. It's got a top speed of 455 km/h, which it achieves through its 5.9-litre twin-turbo V8 engine. Named after a reptile found only in New Zealand that's known for having the fastest molecular evolution of any living animal, the SSC Tuatara, with its small ground clearance will be a nightmare to drive in India, especially over speed breakers.

This mid-engine two-seater from Bugatti is a hallowed name among super car enthusiasts. It is powered by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine and its Super Sport 300+ variant generates 1,556 bhp at 1,600 PS. Owned by some of the most famous people on the planet, the Bugatti Chiron is an absolute beast of a machine and its looks exude absolute fury.

Based on the Lotus Elise/Exige, this car has been setting speed records ever since it was first unveiled in 2011. In 2016, the Hennessey Venom GT Spyder achieved a top speed of 427.4 km/h at California's Naval Air Station Lemoore. The best thing about this car is that it's quite affordable as far as other sports cars are concerned. Its price is about Rs 2.7 crores, which is not the most expensive car that many of our Indian celebrities have purchased.

One more among the super cars which could not make it to India is the Koenigsegg Agera RS, which in 2017, became the world's fastest production car by reaching a speed of 447 km/h. Only 27 models of this car exist around the world. It boasts a 5-litre V8 engine that can generate a power output of 1,176 PS.
It makes sense that these super cars never found their way into India. Owning a really fast and beautifully designed car is one thing but driving them around on roads like those we have in India is a whole different ball game.
