FB Mondial To Make A Re-Entry Into India At IBW

- FB Mondial to return to India at IBW
- Will bring the Piega 452, a 500cc streetfighter-styled motorcycle.
- Features single-sided swingarm, twin underseat exhausts.
FB Mondial is one of the oldest two-wheeler brands in the world, hailing from Milan, Italy, FB Mondial is a 95-year-old brand that has unfortunately undergone closures and revivals more than once. Currently owned by the Piaggio Group, the brand had previously marked it presence in India under Kinetic’s Motoroyale division but eventually came to a halt after Motoroyale stopped operations in 2020. Fast-forwarding to 2025, the brand has once again announced its re-entry into India at India Bike Week in December, this time under the Motohaus banner that currently sells Brixton and VLF.
The brand’s re-entry will be marked by the launch of the Piega 452, a naked streetfighter styled motorcycle that is already on sale in the European markets. The motorcycle has a distinctive design with aggressive and sharp edges. It has a compact tail section and prominent tank extensions, but the main highlight of the motorcycle is the single-sided swingarm and the twin underseat exhausts.

Powering the Piega 452 is 449.5cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor that is tuned to produce a maximum power output of 47.6 bhp and 39 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed gearbox. For cycle parts, the motorcycle employs 41mm USDs up front and a preload-adjustable monoshock. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels at both ends with disc brakes at both wheels with Brembo calipers. The Piega 452 features a colour TFT display for instrumentation, switchable dual-channel ABS and traction control.
Motohaus will be handling operations for FB Mondial in India and provide a platform for the sale of its motorcycles through its dealership network.
