Hero XPulse 200 4V Rally Kit Launched In India; Kit Priced At Rs 46,000

- Rally Kit priced at Rs 46,000
- Adds more off-road specific hardware to the bike
- Standard XPulse 200 4V priced at Rs 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
The Hero XPulse 200 4V is now available with a new Rally Kit. The Rally Kit adds a number of off-road specific upgrades including increased ground clearance, a revised suspension set-up, off-road focused tyres and more. All the upgrades come at a price with the rally kit costing an additional Rs 46,000 over the XPulse 4V base price of Rs. 1.36 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Rally Kit equipped models get longer travel suspension with preload adjustment
Compared to the standard XPulse 4V, the Rally Kit offers a revised long ravel suspension set-up with both the front fork and rear mono shock offering preload adjustment. Suspension travel is now 250 mm up front and 220 mm at the rear compared to the standard bike’s 190 mm and 170 mm respectively. The tyres too are more off-road focused with the Rally Kit models coming fitted with Maxxis rally-style tyres. Ground clearance too is up from 220 mm to 275 mm with the side stand too now being longer as a result.
Flatter bench-style seat and raised handle bar also part of the package
The seat too is different from the standard XPulse 200 4V – it’s now a flatter bench style seat, while handlebar too have been raised up. The Rally Kit model also gets a few cosmetic tweaks such as a stubby rally-bike style rear mudguard and lack of a rear grab handle.
The updates are all in line with the Rally Kit offered on the Xpulse 200 which too will set you back an additional Rs 46,000 over the model’s base price.
The Rally Kit adds more off-road focused Maxxis tyres to the package
The Rally Kit makes no changes to the engine. The 4V is powered by a 199.6cc, four valve per cylinder, single cylinder, oil cooled engine developing 18.8 bhp at 8,500 rpm and 17.35 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The unit is paired with a 5-speed gearbox.
