The Hero Xtreme Sport is powered by the same 149.2cc air cooled engine that also powers the current model. This engine is tuned to offer slightly more power. It is capable of producing a top power output of 15.2bhp, an increase of 1bhp, and a peak torque of 12.8Nm. This engine is paired to a five-speed gearbox.
