Hotelier Stephen Hung Buys World's Largest Rolls-Royce Phantom Fleet

Luxury entrepreneur Stephen Hung recently placed an order for the world's largest Rolls-Royce Phantom fleet, i.e. 30 Bespoke Extended Wheelbase Phantoms. Meant for Hung's Louis XIII hotel in Macau, this is the world's single largest order of Rolls-Royces ever. Out of the 30 Rolls-Royce Phantoms, two will be the most expensive Rolls-Royce Phantoms ever commissioned.
A signing ceremony for the deal was organised on September 16, 2014 at the Home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood in West Sussex, England and was attended by Torsten Mueller-Oetvoes, Rolls-Royce CEO, Stephen Hung, Louis XIII Chairman, the Board of Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Louis XIII executives and a representative from Graff Diamonds.
Stephen Hung, Louis XIII Chairman, said, "Macau is rapidly evolving into the luxury capital of the world and we are honoured to have the opportunity to add to Macau's many distinctions, the world's largest fleet of Rolls-Royce Phantoms, including the two most luxurious vehicles Rolls-Royce has ever built. Louis XIII and Rolls-Royce Motor Cars share the same philosophy: to deliver the perfect experience to the world's most discerning customers."

Now for the 30 Rolls-Royce Phantoms, Rolls-Royce's Bespoke design team worked along with Mr Hung to extensively customise each one of them. The Phantoms will sport exclusive elements on both, the interior and exterior, including bespoke clocks by Graff Luxury Watches. However, as mentioned above, two out of the 30 will be comparatively more expensive and will sport external and internal gold-plated accents.
However, Rolls-Royce's involvement doesn't end just there. The company also helped design the parking and driveways at Louis XIII and will train Louis XIII's chauffeurs in the appropriate driving and handling of the unique Phantoms.
If a standard Rolls-Royce Phantom costs about Rs 5.1 crore (ex-showroom) in India, that means 30 standard Phantoms will cost about Rs 153 crore. Considering the fact that Mr Hung's Phantoms will undergo rigorous customisation and two of them will be more expensive as compared to the remaining 28, my estimate for the fleet's cost is about Rs 180 crore. Well, that's my number. What do you think?
