Apparently, the Husqvarna board cleared the production model of the Nordent 901 concept shown at the 2019 EICMA after the tremendous response it received. The product development process began in early 2020, but the COVID-19 pandemic put a spanner in the works. But now, the development is well underway, and Husqvarna seems to be an advanced stage in completing the production model of the Norden 901. A new video reveals various details of the Norden 901, without revealing much, but still giving us a fairly decent idea of what the finished bike will look like. And it retains most of the design details revealed in the concept.

The Husqvarna Norden 901 is based on the KTM 890 Adventure, and will use the same 889 cc parallel-twin engine used in the KTM, but will be distinguished by unique styling, designed by Austrian design firm Kiska. Swedish brand Husqvarna is owned by KTM, and Kiska Design is also part of the larger Pierer Mobility Group, which owns both KTM and Husqvarna, as well as GasGas. India's Bajaj Auto also has stake in Pierer Mobility. More details on Husqvarna's new range of models, including the Norden 901 are expected to be announced towards the end of the year.
