Jeff Bezos Is Already Trolling Elon Musk Over Free Speech After He Acquired Twitter

Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter is making more buzz than the blockbuster quarter Tesla had and all the progress SpaeeX is making with regards to making humans are multi-planetary species. And now, the richest man in the world is being trolled by the 2nd wealthiest in the world - the Amazon founder and owner of the Washington Post - Jeff Bezos.
Bezos quote tweeted a New York Times Reporter pointing out that Tesla's business interests in China could be under threat. "Interesting question. Did the Chinese government just gain a bit of leverage over the town square?," he tweeted.
Musk has been successful in the tricky Chinese market unlike Bezos whose Amazon struggled. Even the likes of Google, Microsoft and Facebook have struggled in China thanks to restrictions on free speech, while Tesla has avoided all of this thanks to it selling fundamentally hardware.

But now that Musk has ownership of a platform that brings to light a lot many atrocities that happen inside China, would the Chinese government look the other way?
"My own answer to this question is probably not. The more likely outcome in this regard is complexity in China for Tesla, rather than censorship at Twitter," added Bezos claiming the same.
Though he did give credit to Musk for navigating these complex issues. "But we'll see. Musk is extremely good at navigating this kind of complexity," he added on twitter.
The irony in all of this is that all the buzz around Musk's $44 billion acquisition is literally happening on Twitter itself. Bezos and Musk have been rivals for a while. Musk disrupted commercial space flights with SpaceX but Bezos has followed him with his BlueOrigin venture. Amazon acquired a self driving car company called Zoox and has also invested heavily in EV upstart Rivian which IPOed last year.
For a while Bezos was the richest man in the world and was only overtaken last year by Musk which has fuelled the rivalry between the two billionaires.
