The Austrian bike maker KTM's Indian subsidiary has introduced the KTM 390 Duke in a new Midnight Black colour. The same edition of the bike made its debut at the EICMA show in November 2013, in Italy.
Earlier available in only white, India's first mid-sized sport bike with this new colour and the signature orange colour frame and wheels, manages to look distinct and attractive. The company says that there will be no extra charges for the new paint, and deliveries will start from the end of February.
The KTM 390 Duke resembles the Duke 125 and the 200. It's only the engine that makes all the difference. The KTM 390 Duke is powered with a 373.2cc powertrain that produces a peak power output of 43bhp with 35Nm of torque. With lighter body construction, the 390 Duke weighs around 154kgs (kerb weight) only.
Mr. Amit Nandi, Vice President (Probiking) said "Packing in 43bhp of power and 35 Nm of torque and weighing only 154 Kg (Kerb weight), the 390 Duke has truly been India's first mid-size sports bike. With the introduction of the new Black colour, KTM fans will have the option of choosing a colour that expresses them best."
The KTM 390 Duke is available at Rs. 1, 86, 500 (Ex-showroom, New Delhi). The waiting period for the bike is around 3 months.
