F1: Starting Grid For The Belgian GP After All The Penalties

Formula 1 never fails to amaze, and on the weekend of the 2022 Belgian GP, there's been an interesting talking point of grid penalties. As many as seven drivers have taken grid penalties for changing various components of their engines, or the gearbox, but they have taken the penalties at different points in the weekend, which will mean that the starting order won't be straightforward.

Valtteri Bottas qualified in P20, and despite having a 25 place grid penalty, he will still start up in P14! Following him are title protagonists Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc, who will start alongside each other on Row 8. Ocon, Norris, Zhou and Schumacher will start in P17-P20 respectively.

Here are the penalties for the drivers:
- Verstappen: ICE, turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K (back of the grid) + gearbox (5 places)
- Leclerc: MGU-K, energy store (15 places) + gearbox (10 places)
- Norris: ICE, turbo, MGU-H (back of the grid)
- Ocon: ICE, turbo, MGU-H, MGU-K, energy store, control electronics (back of the grid)
- Bottas: ICE, turbo, MGU-H (15 places) + gearbox (10 places)
- Schumacher: control electronics (10 places) + gearbox (10 places)
- Zhou: power unit elements (back of the grid)
