What you're looking at is Lotus' quickest street-legal sports car, the new Lotus 3-Eleven 430 has the ability to go from 0-100kmph in just 3.1 seconds and has a top speed of 289kmph. That's not all, the Lotus 3-Eleven 430 is also the fastest Lotus road car to lap the Hethel circuit, 0.8 seconds quicker than the second place Exige Cup 430, and two seconds quicker than the previous 3-Eleven, setting the record at 1 minute 24 seconds. Limited to 20 vehicles worldwide, the Lotus 3-Eleven 430 is priced at $ 142,468 (Rs. 92.46 lakh) and pays a fitting tribute to the 70 years of Lotus cars.

Jean-Marc Gales, CEO of Group Lotus said, "When we first unveiled the Lotus 3-Eleven, it heralded a new generation of truly focused, world-class sports cars. It altered perceptions of what was possible at this price category, and today the new 3-Eleven 430 moves the benchmark to remain the ultimate weapon in focused road driving and track work."
The Lotus 3-Eleven 430 comes fitted with a 3.5-litre supercharged and charge-cooled V6 engine that produces 430 bhp of max power and 440 Nm of peak torque. Apart from the fact that it is the quickest Lotus to be built, the other reason for its lightweight is the carbon-composite body and a bespoke extruded and bonded aluminum chassis. All the carbon side panels and carbon interior panels account to the dry weight of 920 kg, giving a power to weight ratio of an influx of 20 bhp per ton.
