New Renault Duster AMT Launched; Prices Start From Rs. 8.46 Lakh

On the outset, the new Renault Duster features an updated front fascia featuring a new twin-slat chrome grille, while there are new Hawk Eye Cluster headlamps along with redesigned fog lamps invoking a fresh look on the SUV. Also new are the 16-inch gunmetal finished alloy wheels, while the rear gets new waterfall inspired LED tail lamps. Furthermore, the SUV gets electrically adjustable and foldable ORVMs with turn indicators, Kayak Roof Rails and the sporty new Cayenne Orange colour option.
Renault has extensively updated the new Duster's feature list as well equipping the SUV with a rearview camera with guidelines, automatic climate control, auto-up/down power windows with anti-pinch; new media navigation and a better-looking centre console. The safety package now comprises of the essentials including ABS, EBD with Brake Assist, dual front airbags, ESP and Hill start assist.
As Renault states, the new Duster features the 'CMO10 and T4 E&E' architecture that has helped enhance safety, ride and handling on the compact SUV. Power continues to come from the same 1.5-litre K9k dCi diesel engine tuned for 108bhp at 4000rpm and 245Nm of peak torque at 1750rpm. The 6-speed manual transmission from the previous version has been retained, in addition to the 6-speed Easy-R AMT gearbox. In the new automatic guise, the Duster returns an ARAI certified fuel efficiency figure of 19.6 km/l, which increased to 19.72 km/l on the AWD variant that comes with a manual gearbox.

Bookings for the new Renault Duster open at dealerships across the country from today. Interestingly, prospective buyers can also make their bookings on the new Renault DUSTER App, which is available on the Google Playstore.
