Suzuki Motorcycles India first launched the Access 125 scooter back in 2007 and it was the one of the first two-wheelers to be launched by the company when it started operations in India. It has been nearly 9 years since its launch the scooter is still one of the top sellers in the market. Over the years the company has added many updates to the scooter but this is its first major facelift.
Coming to the scooter itself, the new Suzuki Access features a lighter frame and comes with some major additions in the styling department. The front profile of the scooter has been completely redesigned and the Access now features a restyled apron, new larger turn indicators, and an all-new headlamp with a large chrome bezel that adds a new level of premiumness to it. Towards the side profile you'll notice some rich bodywork with stylish, edgy character lines and a 3D logo. Even the rear profile has been redesigned and now comes with larger grab rail and sleek mud guard.
Additionally now the scooter comes with 5-spoke alloy wheels and front disc brakes along with a new chrome exhaust. Other features include single push starter, optional DC socket, telescopic front forks and new colour options. Now it will be available in 5 different colour options that include - Pearl Mirage White, Glass Sparkle Black, Sonoma Red, Metallic Matt Fibrion and Pearl Suzuki Deep Blue No.2.
Powering the new Suzuki Access will be the same 125cc engine that has been slightly retuned and now comes with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology. This means, the new Access has now become more fuel efficient and offers better stability. The improved engine is now claimed to offer better power output as well, producing 8bhp and 10.2Nm of peak torque.
