Pininfarina Reveals New KPF Argento E-Scooter

- Electric scooter has a range of up to 40km
- Gets a top speed of up to 25kph
- Gets three ride modes - Eco, Normal and Sport
While renowned for its designs for classic Ferraris and Alfa Romeos, Italian design house Pininfarina has expanded its portfolio to cover a wide aspect of designs including personal mobility. The design house has now revealed the new KPF an electric push scooter built in collaboration with Platum, an urban e-mobility brand. The e-scooter will be marketed under a new Argento by Pininfarina brand which will also see the addition of other personal mobility models including e-bikes and folding bikes. The company has said that its first e-bike under a new Argento brand will also arrive in 2022.
The company says the e-scooter's design focuses on offering ergonomic comfort to riders while also focusing on aspects such as durability, functionality, and rider safety. The e-scooter features an 83.5cm platform, hidden suspension and has a range of up to 40km on a single charge. It also gets a choice of three ride modes – eco, normal and sport. Eco allows riders to accelerate up to 6kph and is designed for use in pedestrian areas while normal and sport bump up speed to 20kph and 25kph respectively.
The e-scooter also gets a digital display housing a speedometer, battery level indicator and odometer. The scooter also gets an LED headlight and tail-lamp (integrated into the back of the running board if you plan to take it out in the evenings.
Pininfarina says that the electric scooter is available in international markets from April onwards.
