- Kia offers the Seltos with three engine options - 1.5-litre petrol, 1.4-litre turbo petrol and a 1.5-litre turbo diesel. All three options come with manual and automatic transmission options. The newer Seltos models also come with an iMT (Intelligent Manual Transmission) unit.

- The Kia Seltos is offered as a front wheel drive car as standard. The all-wheel drive (AWD) system isn't offered even as optional on the new Kia Seltos, not even on the X-Line trim.
- Even a used Kia Seltos will not exactly come cheap. You are unlikely to get one in a good condition under Rs. 10 lakh, while a more recent top-spec model can cost you up to Rs. 19 lakh.
