Revolt Motors Strengthens Retail Footprint With First Store In Uttar Pradesh

- The Lucknow store is the brand's 20th across India
- Revolt Motors plans to add over 45 more stores in 2022
- The Revolt RV400 has seen strong consumer interest across India
Revolt Motors has announced the opening of the company's first retail store in Lucknow. This store is the first in the Uttar Pradesh region for the electric motorcycle brand, and is the 20th retail store across the country. The company aims to open more than 45 retail stores across the country in 2022. Being the largest state in the country, Uttar Pradesh is emerging as a high demand market for electric two-wheelers, Revolt Motors said in a statement, adding that the new store will display the range of the company's Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle.

The Revolt RV 400 was introduced in a new colour option a few months ago.
The Uttar Pradesh state government is offering 100 per cent tax exemption for electric two-wheelers and around 75 per cent tax exemption for other electric vehicles under its EV policy. Further exemptions and incentives are being provided on land for the first 1,000 EV charging stations. According to Revolt Motors, UP's EV policy supports every aspect of electric mobility and is focused on accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles.

The Revolt RV 400 is packed with new generation features, like cloud connectivity, synthesised sounds and a dedicated mobile app
In December 2021, Revolt Motors announced the opening of three retail stores in the West and South India region in Kolkata, Madurai and Coimbatore. All the new stores are being set up by the company's retail partners across key cities.

Revolt's flagship model, the Revolt RV400 electric motorcycle, comes with a 3 kW (Mid Drive) motor, powered by a 72 V, 3.24 kWh Lithium-Ion battery with a top speed of 85 kmph. The bike can be operated through the MyRevolt App, which offers connectivity features such as bike locator/geo-fencing, customised sounds that can be changed with just a tap on the screen, complete bike diagnostics, battery status, historical data on rides and kilometres done, and also the option of locating the nearest Revolt Switch Station to swap the Revolt electric bike's battery.
