The Skoda Kushaq 1.5 TSI version uses the 1.5-litre TSI EVO engine that comes with the segment-first Active Cylinder Technology (ACT), which will shut down two cylinders at low speeds in a bid to improve fuel efficiency. The turbocharged petrol engine develops 148 bhp at 5000-6000 rpm and peak torque of 250 Nm of peak torque between 1600-3500 rpm. The motor is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission.
