Stellantis Appoints New Brand Heads For Citroen And Jeep In India

- Saurabh Vatsa has been appointed as the Brand Head of Citroen India
- Nipun J Mahajan will be the Brand Head of Jeep India
- Both will report to Roland Bouchara, CEO & MD for Stellantis in India
Stellantis, the multinational automotive corporation formed earlier this year after the merger of FCA and PSA Groupe, has now announced two key leadership appointments in India. The carmaker has appointed Saurabh Vatsa and Nipun J Mahajan as the Brand Heads of Citroen India and Jeep India, respectively. In the new role, both Vatsa and Mahajan will be responsible for Sales, Marketing, Aftersales, Product Planning & PR functions of their respective brands in India. Saurabh and Nipun will report directly to Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director for Stellantis in India.

Commenting on the two new leadership appointments, Roland Bouchara, CEO & Managing Director of Stellantis in India said, "I am pleased to welcome Saurabh and Nipun to our India leadership team. These appointments are a continuation of the seamless integration process that has been well underway since Stellantis was born. Both Saurabh and Nipun brings to their position a series of stellar achievements and rich industry experience from which our customers, partners and the Group as a whole will benefit greatly."
Saurabh Vatsa, the new head of Citroen India, comes with over 25 years of experience. He joined PSA in 2018 as Senior Director - Marketing & Corporate Communications, and the company says that Vatsa has been instrumental in devising and implementing the unique strategy for the launch of the Citroen brand and C5 Aircross SUV in India.

Nipun Mahajan, on the other hand, has been a part of the Jeep brand for 5 years in the position of Vice President, Sales Operations and Network development. He too comes with over 25 years of experience in the automotive industry and is said to have been instrumental in launching the Jeep brand in India and achieving the 50,000 sales milestone for the Jeep Compass.
