Suzuki GSX-S750 To Be Launched Next Month

The Suzuki GSX-S750 street-fighter is all set to be introduced in the country as early as next April, 2018. Suzuki Motorcycle India unveiled its all-new offering at the Auto Expo 2018 last month for the domestic market and will be importing the motorcycle as a Completely Knock-Down Kit (CKD). The middleweight motorcycle segment is extremely popular in the country and the GSX will be competing against a host of popular and established competitors. Suzuki India though is yet to officially confirm the launch date on the model and had previously said that the launch will take place in the second quarter of 2018.
The Suzuki GSX-S750 borrows cues from the Suzuki GSX-S1000 while power comes from a in-line four-cylinder engine. The styling is inspired from the litre-class model with a familiar headlamp design, and the muscular fuel tank with extended shrouds.
Powering the Suzuki GSX-S750 is a 749 cc, in-line four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine tuned for 110 bhp at 10,500 rpm and 81 Nm of peak torque at 9500 rpm. The bike gets a 6-speed gearbox and the output is similar to what the competition has to offer. Suspension duties are handled by KYB USD forks up front and a monoshock setup at the rear. Braking duties are handled by Nissin radial calipers with dual-channel ABS. The kerb weight stands at 211 kg on the street-fighter.
With respect to electronic assistance, the Suzuki GSX-S750 gets Traction Control, Low RPM Assist and Suzuki Easy Start System. Lastly, the GSX-S750 gets a full LCD instrument console.
Local assembly should keep the prices competitive on the Suzuki GSX-S750 at around Rs. 8 lakh. The motorcycle will be locking horns with the likes of the Kawasaki Z900, Triumph Street Triple, Yamaha MT-09, Ducati Monster 821 and the likes.
