Suzuki Swish 125cc Scooter Receives Cosmetic Updates

Right after Honda launched the Activa 125 in India, Suzuki silently introduced the updated Swish, which is again a 125cc scooter. However, the changes given to the scooter are minimal and are mainly cosmetic. The updated Swish is priced at Rs 52,671 (on-road, Delhi). (Also read: Suzuki to launch two new bikes this year)

The refreshed Suzuki Swish gets a revamped instrument cluster and new body graphics. The scooter is now available in five colour options: white, silver, blue, black and red.

Mechanically too, the updated Swish remains unchnaged. It continues to feature the same 124cc, four-stroke, single cylinder engine that is capable of churning out 8.5bhp and 9.8Nm of peak torque. Transmitting power to the rear wheels of the scooter is a CVT gearbox.

Recently, Suzuki also introduced an all new 110cc scooter called the 'Let's' to take on Activa 110cc. The company that gets 80% of its sales from scooters, will also strengthen its position in the motorcycle segment by launching new models in the months to come.
