Power comes from the 2.2-litre Varicor400 diesel engine shared with the Safari Storme and is tuned to  produce 156bhp and 400Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed manual transmission and an all-new 6-speed automatic gearbox along with different driving modes. There is now a rotary selector on the dashboard which allows you to toggle between 4 driving modes - Comfort, Dynamic, Auto and Rough road, which will be available only in the manual transmission variant. The feature is a first for any Tata.

The complete pricing for the Tata Hexa is only expected at the time of launch next year. However, if the automaker manages to price it right, the Hexa just might make more sense for the crossover buyer. Make sure to keep watching this space for complete details.
