These Are The Year-End Discounts On Cars You've Been Waiting For

It is that time of the year when car dealers offer the maximum amount of discounts as car companies will hike prices of all its models from January 1, 2018 to partially offset the impact of rising input and freight costs. For December, dealers are offering huge discounts in the range of Rs. 25,000 to Rs. 9 lakh on certain models. Yes! You heard it right. These benefits include cash discounts and exchange bonuses on brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai, Honda, Renault, BMW and Audi to name a few. But, these offers are for a limited period only, and may vary from region to region.

The market leader Maruti Suzuki is offering discounts and benefits on its popular hatchbacks- Alto, WagonR, Celerio, Swift and also on premium hatchback Ignis, its flagship sedan Ciaz and MPV Ertiga. It is offering various variants of the Alto- including the AMT, with cash benefits from Rs. 45,000 to Rs. 55,000. The AMT variant of WagonR with CNG, is being offered with benefits up to Rs. 55,000. The Ciaz, with the petrol engine, is available with offer benefits up to Rs. 70,000, whereas the diesel variant comes with benefits up to Rs. 85,000. The Ignis is available with cash discounts up to Rs. 40,000.

Hyundai dealers are offering cash discounts on the- Eon, i10, i20, Elantra, Xcent and Tucson. The small hatchback Eon is on sale with a discount of up to Rs. 55,000, same as the Activ and Elite trims of i20. Grand i10 facelift is going with the highest discounts with the petrol version getting cash discounts up to Rs. 75,000 rupees, whereas diesel engine gets discount of up to Rs. 90,000. The compact sedan Xcent has cash benefits up to Rs. 45,000.

Tata Motors has launched the Mega Offer Max Celebration for its buyers through which you can own a Tata car at a down payment of Re. 1 and even save up to Rs. 1 lakh. The Tiago and Tigor are being offered with cash discounts of Rs. 26,000 and Rs. 32,000 respectively. Hexa, the premium SUV, is available with discounts up to Rs. 78,000, whereas Safari Storme is offered with Rs. 1 lakh Discount Benefits including Free Insurance and Exchange Bonus.

Honda Cars India is offering exciting offers on the Brio facelift, Amaze facelift, Jazz, City, BR-V and CR-V. The Japanese car-makers are offering cash discount of up to Rs. 21,200 on the Brio Petrol, Rs. 73,000 on the Amaze facelift Petrol and diesel, Rs. 57,000 rupees on all variants of the Jazz diesel, Rs. 32,000 on City petrol and diesel trims, cash discount of Rs. 1 lakh on the petrol and diesel variants of the BR-V and Rs. 1 lakh rupees on the petrol model of the CR-V.

Mahindra & Mahindra, for its year end discounts, is offering 1st year insurance and up to Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus on certain models. The e2oPlus comes with a saving of Rs. 80,000 along with the government incentive under the FAME scheme. The recently launched Mahindra KUV100 NXT receives a one year insurance and Rs. 20,000 exchange bonus... the TUV300 also gets a 1st year insurance along with a discount of Rs. 5,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 20,000. The Scorpio facelift, on the other hand, gets a discount of Rs. 20,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 15,000.

Renault India is not too far behind as the French car-makers has launched the Renault December Celebrations with deals and offers on its entire range of cars. Renault is offering discounts on the Duster and Lodgy MPV. The Duster gets discount on all variants except the RxS CVT variant. This includes cash discount in the range of Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 55,000 and exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000 rupees. The STD and RxE variants of Lodgy get cash discount of Rs. 30,000 and an exchange bonus of Rs. 30,000.

Nissan India is offering cash benefits of up to Rs. 77,000 for the month of December. Nissan has the Micra Active, Micra, Terrano and Sunny in its portfolio in India. While you can get a cash discount of Rs. 30,000 on the Micra Active and Micra, Terrano and the Sunny receive a cash discount of Rs. 20,000.

Datsun on the other hand is offering total benefits up to Rs. 34,000 on the Go, Go+, redi-Go 0.8L and redi-GO 1.0L. It is offering a cash discount of Rs. 10,000 on all the models except the redi-GO 1.0L, which gets a cash discount of Rs. 15,000.

Volkswagen is offering hefty cash benefits up to Rs. 1.1 lakh on its premium sedan Vento. Meanwhile, Polo, is being offered with discount up to Rs. 60,000.

German luxury carmaker Audi has a cash discount of Rs. 3.41 lakh on the Audi Q3 which is now on sale for Rs. 29.99 lakh. Calling this a "limited" period offer on limited stock the company is giving a discount of Rs. 5 lakh on the A3 which now comes at Rs. 26.99 lakh. The steepest discount of Rs. 8.85 lakh is being offered on the Audi A6... now priced at Rs. 44.99 lakh.
