The TVS Jupiter 125 is built for comfort, practicality and fuel economy. Designed to be a family scooter, the Jupiter 125 is designed for wider appeal, and a diverse range of customers, at the same, helping TVS Motor Company grab a slice of the burgeoning 125 cc scooter segment. According to TVS, the two-valve engine is all-new, and not shared with its sporty 125 cc scooter, the TVS NTorq 125. The Jupiter 125 also gets an all-new design, new chassis and new features to give it fresh appeal. Here's a look at the top 5 highlights of the TVS Jupiter 125.

Design

The TVS Jupiter 125 looks familiar sporting the simple styling with an LED headlamp on top with the indicators integrated into the front apron. The indicators though now get the LED guidelights that bring a new signature look to the model. You also get the same LED pattern for the taillight that is now wider. The overall design of the TVS Jupiter 125 is conservative, keeping in mind its target customer, and to make the Jupiter 125 universally appealing.
Features

The fuel-filler cap is now up front, on the left inside of the front apron, with the fuel tank moved below the footboard. There's a USB charging socket next to the multi-function ignition key. Body-coloured panels adorn the inside of the front apron.

Ergonomics

The seat is 25 mm longer the rider and 40 mm longer for the pillion, making overall 65 mm longer than the one on the Jupiter 110. Ergonomics are comfortable, and neutral, offering universal ease for riders of different height and build.
Engine & Performance

Top speed is an indicated 90 kmph, and the engine offers smooth and refined performance. The two-valve 124.8 cc, single-cylinde engine makes 8.04 bhp at 6,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 4,500 rpm.
Prices

With prices for the base drum-brake variant at Rs. 75,625 (Ex-showroom), the TVS Jupiter 125 offers a very good value for money package in the 125 cc scooter segment, which has several best-in-class features. The top-spec disc brake variant is priced at Rs. 82,575 (Ex-showroom).
