Veteran actor Waheeda Rehman, a recipient of the Padma Shri and the Padma Bhushan, is now a proud owner of a new BMW 5 Series. The luxury saloon was recently delivered to the actor by a Mumbai-based BMW dealership, images of which were recently posted on social media. The actor made her debut in 1955 with the Telugu film Rojulu Marayi and remains one of the most iconic names in the Indian film industry. Her body of work also includes films like Guide, Pyaasa, Kaagaz Ke Phool, Sahib Biwi Aur Ghulam, Lamhe and many others. The actor was last seen in the Netflix film Skater Girl.

Waheeda Rehman's BMW 5 Series is finished in the fantastic Bluestone metallic shade (grey) with the M Sport treatment. The 5 Series is one of the most popular luxury sedans on sale from the Bavarian carmaker and offers a healthy mix of performance and luxury. The car received a nip and tuck in 2021, which brought the wider twin-kidney grille, revised headlamps with adaptive LED laser technology and new L-shaped LED DRLs. The rear sports L-shaped 3D signature LED lights, which further add to the sharp looks of the sedan.

The cabin on the BMW 5 Series is loaded with luxury with the quintessential design seen across the German automaker's cars. It gets a 10.25-inch infotainment screen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sensatec (leatherette) upholstery with perforation, as well as a 12.3-inch digital instrument console, ambient lighting, 360-degree camera, four-zone climate control, and more.

Waheeda Rehman has opted for the BMW 5 Series 530i M Sport that comes from the 2.0-litre petrol engine with 248 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque. There's also the 2.0-litre diesel on the 520d Luxury Line with 188 bhp and 400 Nm and a more powerful 530d with the 3.0-litre diesel that belts out 261 bhp and 620 Nm. All three engines are paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The 5 Series is priced from Rs. 64.50 lakh, going up to Rs. 74.50 lakh (ex-showroom, India). Apart from the 5 Series, Rehman also owns the eighth-generation Honda Accord.
