Vodafone Idea Partners With Revolt For Providing 4G IoT Connectivity Solutions

Vodafone Idea has partnered with Revolt Intellicorp to offer 4G 'Internet of Things' connectivity on the Revolt electric bikes. The idea is to offer a 'smart' riding experience on the Revolt RV 400 and the Revolt RV 300 electric bikes. It is Vodafone Idea Business Services (VIBS) which is the enterprise arm of the Vodafone Idea group which has partnered with Revolt Intellicorp for the connectivity solutions. The exclusive 4G IoT connectivity enables features such as geo-fencing, bike-locator and real time bike information along with diagnostics as well. Revolt will also introduce voice start feature soon on its smart-electric bikes, which will enable the riders to start the electric bike with just a voice command.

Speaking on partnership, Nick Gliddon, Chief Enterprise Business Officer, Vodafone Idea said, "We are extremely happy to announce this partnership with Revolt Motors and make India's first AI based electric motorbike truly smart through our IoT solutions. Electric Vehicles will disrupt the Indian automobile landscape in the coming few years. Connectivity will play a pivotal role in ensuring that electric vehicles are a success. It offers us an ideal opportunity to collaborate and introduce comprehensive end-to-end solutions for our partners in the automotive industry and enhance customer experience."

The fully electric motorbikes-RV400 and RV300 can be purchased through the 'My Revolt Plan'. The monthly payment scheme made the Revolt electric motorcycles attractive to own, and also included maintenance, insurance and product warranty. After the launch in New Delhi, both bikes have also been launched in Pune, with the Revolt RV 400 available at monthly payment plans, starting at Rs. 3,499, and the RV 300 at Rs. 2,999 per month. The monthly subscription plan under the My Revolt Plan continues, but the company has now also introduced the Revolt Cash Down plan, under which customers can make a one-time payment to buy a Revolt electric motorcycle.
