Volkswagen I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept Teased Ahead Of Geneva Debut

Introducing the fourth member of the I.D. family, Volkswagen has teased the new I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept ahead of its official debut at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show next month. The new I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept comes with an electric powertrain and is completely autonomous with no steering wheel or visible controls. It is also the first model that can be controlled over voice command and hand gestures, a first in the I.D. family. The VW I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept will go on sale by 2021.

Volkswagen is currently advancing the development of modern vehicles which will be cleaner, safer and much more convenient and comfortable. Its electric drive system makes the car clean in road traffic, and its automatic driving control will make it safe and much more comfortable. In profile, the I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept will feature a rounded front end, short overhangs and headlights wrapped around the nose. Moreover, the flowing roof starts from the A-pillar and ends at the C-pillar, while the B-pillar is completely missing in the teaser image.

On the inside, the VW I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept will get a digital chauffeur that will take care of all the controls of the car. The I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept drives, steers and navigates autonomously in traffic, while a virtual host will communicate with the passengers via voice and gesture control.

The electrical system in the VW I.D. Vizzion Electric Sedan Concept packs a 111 kWh lithium-ion batteries enable a driving range of up to 665kms and a top speed of 180kmph. It also gets the FWD function with max power of 300 bhp.
