Fiat opens 3 new dealerships in Mumbai

Fiat India inaugurated three new independent dealerships in Mumbai. Earlier this year, the company had opened up an independent dealership in Thane and now it's spreading its wings with dealerships in Andheri East (Torrent Motors), Prabhadevi (Esskay Motors) and Navi Mumbai (Balaji Cars).
Fiat now boasts of 90 independent showrooms across the country and the company plans to have 10 more exclusive dealerships by the end of 2013.
Nagesh Basavanhalli, president and managing director, Fiat-Chrysler India, said, "Fiat India views Mumbai as a very strategic market and the inauguration of two exclusive dealerships in Mumbai and one in Navi Mumbai are in accordance with our strategy to capitalise on this potential. We are confident that our association with Torrid Motors, Esskay Motors and Balaji Cars will play a crucial role in identifying the customer base and enhancing customer experience in their respective areas of Mumbai."
