JLR powers Tata Motors Global sales in January 2014

January has been a fabulous month for Tata Motors. The Auto Expo saw them present the future for both Tata and Jaguar Land Rover. Over a few months now, JLR has been powering the company's sales worldwide and the first month in 2014 has been no different.
Tata Motors' global sales including Jaguar Land Rover, were 80,163 while cumulative wholesales for the fiscal stood at 834,112.
If we look solely at JLR's contribution to this kitty; global wholesales for Jaguar Land Rover for the month were 38,631 vehicles. Jaguar wholesales for the month were 6,711 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 64,494 vehicles, while Land Rover wholesales for the month were 31,920 vehicles and cumulative wholesales were 283,045 vehicles.
Tata Motors passenger car segment saw a slump yet again and global wholesales in January 2014 were 11,411 while cumulative wholesales for the fiscal were 120,421.
Tata Motors has shown a strong growth this fiscal year but this has been powered solely by Jaguar Land Rovers cars.
