Land Rover to Unveil the Range Rover Sport SVR on August 14

You've watched teasers, you've heard it growl at Goodwood and you've been told that it is the fastest SUV to go around the Nurburgring. Well, the wait for it is finally over as Land Rover announced that the production-spec Range Rover Sport SVR will be seen in flesh on August 14 at Pebble Beach.

The Range Rover Sport SVR is Land Rover's most powerful production model ever. We told you it was the quickest ever SUV around the Nurburgring with an 8:14 lap time achieved with a production-spec vehicle driven by a company test driver.

At the heart beats the supercharged 5.0-litre V8 which packs in a massive 545bhp and this is enough to propel this beast from 0-100Km/h in less than five seconds. The beefier alloys, high-performance brakes and quad exhaust pipes add to the exuberance of this quick SUV.
