Mario Promotes Mercedes-Benz GLA in Japan

When playing the 2D game on your computer or gaming console, did you ever imagine the short, turtle smashing, mushroom munching Mario to get behind the wheel of a Mercedes-Benz GLA? Never. But Mercedes-Benz has used the services of Mario to handle the GLA promotional campaign in Japan.
Mercedes-Benz thought that bringing Mario in to announce the arrival of the A-Class-based crossover would be an effective marketing scheme. Mercedes-Benz has introduced the GLA in Japan at 3,440,000 yen which is approximately 20 lakh rupees for the entry-level GLA 180 and goes all the way up to 47 lakhs for the GLA 45 AMG 4MATIC Edition 1.
The GLA AMG comes powered by a 2.0-litre engine which churns out 360bhp and 450 Nm torques. The engine is mated to a 4MATIC all-wheel drive system which powers the GLA to 100km/h in 4.8 seconds while the top speed has been electronically limited to 250km/h.
The GLA will be in India soon enough and we can't wait to drive it.
