Hyundai Creta launched the second generation Creta in India on 16th March 2020. The price ranges between Rs. 10 lakh and Rs. 17 lakh (ex-showroom). The five variants available in India are E, EX, S, SX, and SX (O). The New Hyundai Creta is offered in 10 colours: Polar White, Lava Orange, Typhoon Silver, Titan Grey, Red Mulberry, Deep Forest, Phantom Black, Galaxy Blue, Lava Orange with Phantom Black and Polar White With Phantom Black. It has a five-seater layout. The mileage ranges from 17 to 21 kmpl as per the engines. It is offered in 14 variants with three engines and gearbox options. It is as per the BS6 engine norm compliance.
Its engine displacement ranges from 1353 cc to 1497 cc. The engine transmissions available are Manual, Automatic (CVT), Automatic (Torque Converter), and Automatic. It is offered in both petrol and diesel fuel type. The New Hyundai Creta is an impressive compact SUV. It has a length of 4300mm, a width of 1790mm, and a wheelbase of 2610mm. The maximum power of the 1.5-litre Kappa Turbo GDi petrol is 140PS and a maximum torque of 242nm that is offered with 7-speed DCT. The other petrol engine has 1.5-litre MPi motor which has a maximum power of 115PS and 144nm torque. It is combined with a 6-speed an IVT or MT. The third engine has an engine of 1.5-litre U2 Diesel that has a maximum capacity of 115PS and a torque of 250nm. It is offered with a 6-speed AT or MT. The key features are, power windows front, power steering anti-lock braking system, driver, air conditioner and passenger airbags, fog lights-front, automatic climate control, alloy wheels etc. For entertainment purposes, it has features like 8 speakers in the front and rear, Wireless phone charging, integrated 2DIN Audio, USB & Auxiliary input, touch screen, Bluetooth connectivity and more.
The Hyundai Creta is offered with a 2WD System. Some of its stand-out features are the 10.25-inch touchscreen, panoramic sunroof, air purifier, ventilated front seats, BlueLink and driving modes dor various conditions. According to the expert reviews, this car is spacious and loaded with standard SUV features. It is easy to drive this car with petrol and diesel options. It offers a comfortable cabin with its improvised rear seat.
The safety features of the car are the six airbags, rear parking sensors, ABS with EBD, child safety lock, seat belt warning, central locking, front and side-impact beams, vehicle stability control system, traction control, crash sensor, etc.
