In this week’s episode of The carandbike Show, we get behind the wheel of the new Maruti Suzuki Brezza subcompact SUV and the all-electric BMW i4 sedan. Maruti’s subcompact SUV returns in a brand-new avatar, dropping the Vitara name and receiving a comprehensive overhaul though its still based on the outgoing Vitara Brezza’s platform. Styling is heavily revised, the cabin is all-new, there are now more features and there’s a more efficient engine and new automatic gearbox too. Up next is the new i4, BMW’s second all-electric model for India following the iX. Unlike the latter, the i4 isn’t based on an EV platform but rather shares its underpinnings with the 4 Series Gran Coupe with the oily bits replaced by electric motors and battery pack and is available in India in a sole eDrive40 spec.
