In this week’s episode of The car&bike Show, we get behind the wheel of Mahindra’s first electric SUV for India. The carmaker has big plans on the EV front with plans to launch five electric SUVs in the coming years. The first of these is this, the XUV400. Revealed in production form, the XUV400 is based on the existing XUV300 though is notably longer and packs in an all-electric powertrain. We drive the car at the brands’ SUV Proving track on the outskirts of Chennai. Up next we recap on the recently held SIAM Annual convention. Held in physical form for the first time since the pandemic, this year’s theme was set by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari announcing the government’s plans to turn India into an EV manufacturing hub.
