2015 Volkswagen Touareg unveiled ahead of Beijing Motor Show

Volkswagen has unveiled the tweaked Touareg SUV before its official unveiling at the Beijing Motor Show which is due to begin later this month. 2015 Volkswagen Touareg SUV seems to be sharper than the outgoing version. Tweaks have been in front and rear fascias, besides this, the company has also equipped various features in the vehicle and claims to deliver an enhanced efficiency.
In the front, SUV gets larger bi-xenon head lamps offered as standard across the line-up, a profound grille with four horizontal fins and retouched bumper. Rear looks broader than its predecessor, sporting a tweaked bumper with rear diffuser and twin tailpipes. New alloy wheel design further enhances the outer appearance of the SUV. Interiors have been spruced up; the company is proffering leather upholstery in new colour options and new design accents.
Changes made to the 2015 Touareg do not confine to design tweaks, Volkswagen has also equipped an array of new safety features in the vehicle including automatic post-collision braking system, bi-xenon headlights and a coasting feature on the eight-speed automatic transmission. In a bid to offer enhanced fuel economy, the company is proffering low rolling resistance tyres. Start /stop function and battery regeneration system are available as standard on both the models packed with V6 TDI motor.
Two engines will be powering new Touareg SUV, the 245 Bhp motor that was equipped in the outgoing version has been tuned to produce enhanced power output of 260 Bhp. Volkswagen has retained the entry level 3.0 litre V6 TDI engine pumping out 204 Bhp of maximum power.
