The 2017 KTM 390 Duke will be powered by the same 373cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with similar power figures - 43bhp power and 37Nm of torque. But the engine gets some minor updates to meet Euro4 emission and noise regulations. A new catalytic converter and the redesigned exhaust is also part of those updates, but have added to the weight of the bike, which now tips the scales at 149kg.

The 2017 KTM 390 Duke is expected to be priced slightly higher than the outgoing model, at around Rs 2.2 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi). The 2017 model 390 Duke certainly promises to be a worthy upgrade for the KTM 390 Duke, the leading performance naked in the Indian two wheeler space. Once launched the Duke 390 will compete against the likes of the Benelli TNT 300, the upcoming BMW G 310 R and to some extent, even the Royal Enfield Classic 500.
