2017 L.A. Auto Show: JLR To Showcase Range Rover SVAutobiography

- Range Rover SVAutobiography will make its global debut at LA Auto Show
- The SVAutobiography gets the supercharged V8 petrol engine
- It will also showcase several models from both Jaguar and Land Rover
The 2017 Los Angeles Auto Show is just a few weeks away and Jaguar Land Rover has announced a long list of cars and SUVs that will make their global or North American debut at the show. A few months ago, Land Rover took the wraps off the facelifted version of the flagship Range Rover SUV and now the L.A. Auto Show will play host to exclusive and Range Rover SVAutobiography that will make its global debut in an updated avatar. The SVAutobiography gets the supercharged V8 petrol engine under the hood with bespoke interior trimmings. The L.A. Auto Show will also showcase several other models from both Jaguar and Land Rover which will be showcased in North America for the first time.

From the Jaguar side of things, the new debuts include the new E-Pace compact SUV which goes up against the likes of the Mercedes-Benz GLA, the BMW X1 and the Audi Q3. The Jaguar E-Pace will also take on the recently launched Volvo XC40 along with other smaller SUVs on offer from the likes of Lexus and Infinity in the north American market. Jaguar will also showcase the latest addition to the new XF range, the XF Sport brake (or XF station wagon) along with the range topping flagship sedan offering from the British automaker - the Jaguar XJR575. The XJR575 gets the same supercharged V8 engine that the likes of the F-Type SVR gets. Jaguar will also be showcasing the I-Pace eTrophy prototype race car/race SUV. The I-Pace eTrophy race car is the world's first production electric racecar that will be used in a support race alongside the Formula E championship.

Land Rover will not just be showcasing the new Range Rover SVAutobiography but also the new 2018 model year facelift for the Range Rover and Range Rover Sport family that will also be making its debut at the L.A. Auto Show. Land Rover will also be debuting the Discovery SVX concept - a more offroad performance oriented version of the fullsize Land Rover Discovery.
