2022 Aprilia SR 160, SR 125 Scooters Launched In India, Prices Start At Rs. 1.08 Lakh

Piaggio India has launched the updated Aprilia SR 160 range in India which is priced from Rs. 1,17,494 (ex-showroom Pune). It is about Rs. 10,533 expensive than the older model. The company also introduced the updated Aprilia SR 125, which is priced at Rs. 1,07,595 (ex-showroom Pune). Interested customers can pre-book the updated Aprilia SR 160 at all authorised dealerships across India, as well as online through the company's official website for a token amount of Rs. 5000. The new SR 160 range will be available in White, Blue, Grey, Red and Matt Black colours.

The updated Aprilia SR 160 comes with comprehensive upgrades including a redesigned front with a new headlamp and apron. It now gets a new LED headlight replacing the halogen unit on the old model giving an upmarket look. The handlebar cowl has been redesigned as well and gets air-scoops like recesses.

The 2022 Aprilia SR 160 is powered by the same 160 cc, air-cooled, three-valve engine
Power comes from the same 160 cc, air-cooled, three-valve engine that continues to deliver 10.84 bhp at 7600 rpm and 11.6 Nm at 6000 rpm. The scooter is equipped with under storage capacity of 11-litres, a USB charger, boot light, fuel tank capacity of 6-litres. It also gets a fully-digital instrument console which is borrowed from the Aprilia SXR 160. The cluster shows RPM, mileage, average speed, top speed, fuel indication, odometer and time, etc. The sporty scooter continues to get telescopic forks up front, monoshock at the rear, front disc with single-channel ABS, 14-inch alloy wheels from the outgoing model.
