2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic Spied Sans Camouflage Ahead Of LaunchMahindra is all set to introduce the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic in the market. How do we know? Well, yet another test mule was spotted testing hinting at its imminent launch. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic will receive cosmetic updates to the exterior as well as will get a cabin redesign along with features upgrade over the previous model. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be sold alongside the new Mahindra Scorpio-N SUV in the market but will be a more affordable version.
The profile features added side cladding while it sits on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.

The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will receive a two-tone black & beige dashboard, with faux wooden inserts, while the steering wheel sports the new logo and a ‘Scorpio Classic’ badge on the dashboard towards the passenger side. Expect the Mahindra Scorpio Classic to be a seven-seater model with side-facing jump seats in the third row. In terms of gadgets, we expect the Mahindra Scorpio Classic to feature a new 9-inch touchscreen system, most likely with wireless smartphone connectivity. Also, expect Mahindra to offer the car with automatic climate control semi-digital instrument cluster.
The refreshed Mahindra Scorpio Classic will feature a revised grille.

The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic receives cosmetic updates to bring it more in line with the latest version of the car. The refreshed Mahindra Scorpio Classic will feature a revised grille in front featuring the company’s “Twin Peaks” logo at the centre flanked by the vertical chrome slats, a signature element on recent Mahindra cars. Moreover, the new Mahindra Scorpio Classic will also receive projector headlamps and a new fog lamp housing along with LED DRLs. The front bumper also sees reprofiling to help differentiate it from the Mahindra Scorpio-N.

The profile features added side cladding while it sits on 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. The rest of the profile remains largely identical to the previous model. At the rear, the SUV receives a new Mahindra logo positioned on the tailgate with body-coloured bumper, while LED taillights complete the changes to the rear section of the SUV.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be sold alongside the new Mahindra Scorpio-N in the market.
Under the hood, the 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic is powered by a 2.2-litre MHawk diesel engine that produces 130 bhp and 300Nm, paired to a 6-speed manual gearbox powering the rear wheels. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic will be offered in the 2WD version only.
