Benelli Inaugurates Showroom in Goa

Benelli launched an exclusive showroom in Goa. The state-of-the-art showroom is situated in a plush locale at Shop No S-4/5, Avni Souza Palace, Opposite PMC Bank, NH17, Socorro Porvorim, Burdez; under the dealership of 'AM Motors'.
The showroom will house the entire range of Benelli bikes and the company is living upto its expectations of launching 20 showrooms by the end of this year. It was in March that Benelli launched 5 bikes in India and it has been steady going then on.
Shirish Kulkarni, Chairman, Motowheels said, "The employees at Benelli - Goa have been provided with specialised training in management of sales, service, spare parts and customer service, to ensure that customers can enjoy best-in-class ownership experience. Keeping in mind the global standards, we are also glad to announce that all the Benelli showrooms across India, including Benelli - Goa are the first set of showrooms worldwide to meet the International CI standards of Benelli global showrooms."

The bikes come to India via the CKD route and Benelli is targeting a sales figure of 3,000 units in the current fiscal year. It also intends to increase localisation levels, however that is part of the long-term strategy.
Benelli will introduce some more bikes in the course of this year, thus showing how serious they are about the Indian market. Shirish Kulkarni, MD, Benelli, said that the company plans to capture 20 per cent market share in the first year itself.
