BMW G 310 RR vs TVS Apache RR 310 vs KTM RC 390 vs Kawasaki Ninja 300: Price Comparison

- The BMW G 310 RR is priced from Rs. 2.85 lakh (ex-showroom)
- The TVS Apache RR 310 is priced from Rs. 2.65 lakh (ex-showroom)
- The KTM RC 390 & Kawasaki Ninja 300 cross the Rs. 3 lakh price bracket
After multiple teasers, BMW Motorrad India finally launched the new G 310 RR with prices beginning from Rs 2.83 lakh (ex-showroom). BMW's most accessible fully-faired motorcycle is available in two variants - Standard and Style Sport. The bike shares its underpinnings with TVS Apache RR 310 and is essentially a badge-engineered offering of the same. It gets the same styling and 313 cc single-cylinder engine, while the feature list is identical with riding modes, TFT screen, dual-channel ABS and more. The new G 310 RR banks on hefty brand value and the likeable platform as it pushes into the performance space that has a number of rivals. So does the BMW G 310 RR compete against them in terms of pricing? Let's take a look.

BMW G 310 RR vs TVS Apache RR 310
The big question on everyone's mind has been how different will both of these models be priced. Both the BMW G 310 RR and the TVS Apache RR 310 share the same underpinnings and features. The BMW Motorrad offering differentiates itself with different colours on the Style Sport variant and the BMW badge across the machine. The design itself dates back to 2017 but has seen constant improvements from TVS over the years. In terms of pricing, the G 310 RR is priced between Rs. 2.85 lakh and Rs. 2.99 lakh, which makes it Rs. 20,000 more expensive than the Apache RR 310 that's priced at Rs. 2.65 lakh (all prices are ex-showroom). The TVS offering is available in a single variant but you do get the option to upgrade the model further with the brand's Build To Order program.
The new KTM RC 390 gets a new design, new colours, new suspension, new instrument console and a new split steel trellis frame.
BMW G 310 RR vs KTM RC 390
The BMW G 310 RR will also lock horns with the KTM RC 390. One of the most performance-spec motorcycles, the RC 390 has always been high on the value proposition with its delectable performance available at an accessible price. More recently, the company introduced the second generation of the RC 390 and the motorcycle got a complete overhaul helping improve power and performance from that 373 cc single-cylinder engine. The upgrades were massive though and that did mean a substantial price hike. As a result, the KTM RC 390 retails at Rs. 3.14 lakh (ex-showroom), which makes it marginally more expensive than the top-spec variant of the BMW priced at Rs. 2.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2022 Kawasaki Ninja 300 continues to draw power from the 296 cc parallel-twin motor with 38.4 bhp and 26.1 Nm
BMW G 310 RR vs Kawasaki Ninja 300
The oldest offering in this segment, the Kawasaki Ninja 300 was recently introduced once again in India as an MY2022 model. The bike has remained largely the same for nearly a decade now but the twin-cylinder offering is an absolute hoot of a performer. However, the price tag of Rs. 3.37 lakh (ex-showroom) makes it the most expensive offering here and a good Rs. 38,000 more than the top-spec G 310 RR. The difference is a good Rs. 52,000 when compared to the entry-level version.
