BMW Introduces Z4 sDrive20i GT Spirit Special Edition

It is a widely known fact that special editions serve the purpose of commemorating an occasion or a milestone. BMW Japan has one too, a special edition of the Z4 - sDrive20i GT Spirit. Obviously, this one celebrates something special too.

This special and exclusively-for-Japan edition celebrates the one-two win of the BMW Sports Trophy team in the Super GT series with a Z4 GT3. BMW says that only 60 cars will be produced and all will be based on the sDrive20i with the M Sport package. It will also get an Alpine White body with a black kidney grille.

The Z4 GT Spirit sports 19-inch M lightweight alloy wheels while on the inside there are the M-branded door sill plates, aluminum pedals and a combination of leather and Alcantara with orange accents.

Under the bonnet breathes a 2.0-litre, 4-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine which delivers 180bhp and 270Nm torque. 0-100Km/h is dealt in 6.9 seconds and the top-speed is rated at 235Km/h with the optional 8-speed sport-automatic gearbox.
