- Nissan sells 3,503 units in June 2021
- Over 15,000 units of Magnite delivered since the car was launched
- Nissan aims to ramp up production at its Chennai factory
Nissan Motor India sold 3,503 units in June 2021, which is a growth of 508 per cent, over 576 units sold in June 2020. Do note that the country was in strict lockdown during April-June 2020, with businesses barely re-starting in June last year. So, the abnormal growth could be regarded as an anomaly or a one-off event. The company also announced that it has delivered over 15,000 units of the Magnite since the launch of the subcompact SUV. The company aims to start the third production shift at its Chennai plant so as to cater to increased demand
