Citroen C3 Sport Edition Launched In India At Rs 6.44 Lakh

Shortly after teasing it on its social media handles, Citroen India has launched a new limited-run variant of its C3 hatchback. Named the C3 Sport Edition, it is available on all the variants of the C3, including the live, feel and shine. The Sport Edition carries a premium of Rs 21,000 over the regular model. Here is what you get for that premium.

The C3 Sport Edition features cosmetic changes, including ‘Sport’ decals on the bonnet, roof, and doors. It also gets a new Garnet Red exterior paint option. Depending on the body colour, the models finished in white receive blackish-grey and red graphics, while red variants get grey and white accents.
As for the interior, this edition gets ambient lighting, unique metal pedals, seatbelt covers and carpets, custom seat covers with 'Sport' embossing, while getting all the bells and whistles of the standard turbo variants. Citroen is also offering an optional Tech Kit with this edition priced at Rs 15,000, which adds a wireless phone charger and a dashcam.

As it is based on the turbo variants, the C3 Sport Edition is powered by a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine which churns out 110 bhp and 190 Nm of torque. It is available with a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, and according to Citroen, it can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 10 seconds.
