Jerome Saigot, MD, Nissan India said, "The 100,000th roll out of Datsun is a strong testimony of customer acceptance and their confidence towards our brand, products and value based offerings."
Since 2012, Datsun has launched the Go, Go+ and the redigo. According to the company, more than half of the total sales of Nissan India comes from Datsun.
Saigot added, "On behalf of the Datsun India team, I would like to thank all our customers and dealer partners for the commitment towards our brand."
The Datsun redigo features a tall boy styling which is based on the Yukan design philosophy. Since it's launch in 2016, Datsun offers the redigo in 3 variants- redigo Sport, redigo 1.0-litre and the redigo 1.0-litre Gold Edition, which was launched during the festive season.
