Highlights

Ferrari recently announced that it will debut the 458 Speciale A (A as in Aperta) at the Paris Motor Show. The company says this new limited edition special series is to commemorate the success of the various versions of the 458. Just so you know, this convertible is the most powerful naturally-aspirated road-going V8 engine ever built by Ferrari. It puts out 597hp and 540Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100 Km/h in just 3.0 seconds.

What makes the 458 Speciale A so special, you ask. For starters, its aluminium retractable hard top takes only 14 seconds to deploy or retract. The spider also has a Fiorano lap time of 1'23"5. The car owes its performance figures to its front and rear active aerodynamics, rigidity of chassis, and Side Slip Angle Control (SSC), all of which is further underscored by the signature Ferrari soundtrack.
