Fiat Punto Sportivo Launched in India at Rs. 7.10 lakh

Fiat Punto Sportivo, a limited edition of the Punto Evo hatchback, was launched today in India at Rs. 7.10 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Fiat has added additional exterior and interior acessories on the Punto Sportivo and will offered the car a two tone colour - red body and white roof. Furthermore, this limited edition hatchback will continue to be powered by the same engine as the the Punto Evo.

The list of Fiat Punto Sportivo's new features includes Sportivo decal, new design 15-inch alloys, sporty rear spoilers, chrome garnish on ORVM, and rear parking sensors. Inside, it gets new seat covers, a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system, carpet mats with FIAT branding, and special flat door sill.
Since the Punto Sportivo is based on the Fiat Punto Evo, it will also house the same 1.3-litre MultiJet Diesel unit that develops 75bhp along with 197Nm of maximum torque. Fiat Punto Evo's mileage is rated at 21.2Km/l.
Speaking on the launch of Punto Sportivo, Mr Kevin Flynn, President and Managing Director, FCA India, said, "Punto Sportivo is a stylish car and is targeted towards those auto enthusiasts who desire sporty looks. The add-ons make the Punto Sportivo stand out from the competition and includes a host of plush features. This limited edition car will undoubtedly create a wave of interest during this festive period. This offering on the Punto Sportivo is a perfect blend of style and sportiness."
